Clearance of the Outpost.

After losing my Tri-Cruiser and cargo to local brigands, I recovered my gear from a hacked MULE postbox. Trading my bola gun for lethal firearms, I scaled a tower, cleared hostiles around the observatory, and survived heavy crossfire before finalizing the location clearance for the Western Environmental Observatory.

The loss of my Tri-Cruiser alongside all the cargo I had left behind created an immediate setback. Spotting a MULE postbox in the vicinity, I rushed over in hopes of recovering the stolen inventory

I hacked the lock, revealing all of my missing items inside except for the Tri-Cruiser. I grabbed my weapons from the container, intending to return for the rest of the supplies after neutralizing the surrounding brigands.

Bored of relying on non-lethal bola guns during past encounters, I opted to deploy lethal weaponry to clear the territory once and for all.

I set my sights on the tower bandit who had eliminated me in our previous engagement. Because he remained beyond clean firing distance, I advanced directly toward his position, ignoring the incoming hostile forces gathering below.

I climbed the ladder to the top of the tower and executed the bandit at point-blank range with lethal fire. Taking advantage of the high ground, I opened fire on the remaining brigands scattered across the lower level.

Heavy incoming rounds soon began pinging off the tower as additional enemies fired from the nearby observatory.

I ducked behind cover to return fire until an enemy hurled an electrified rod onto the platform. Attempting to reload my shotgun, I discovered my ammunition was completely spent.

In my haste to climb down and retreat, I lost balance and fell from the tower platform to the ground below.

Scrambling to real cover, I checked my loadout, found my assault rifle empty, and equipped my heavy machine gun to turn the tide against the advancing hostile squad.

When one brave enemy charged my cover, I stepped out and cut him down with a heavy burst.

Taking a brief pause in the firefight, I attached a fresh blood bag and had Sam drink water to recover from his injuries.

With at least three enemies still dug in at the observatory firing lethal rounds, I tried long-range suppression fire, took some of them down from a distance.

The final remaining enemy attempted to rush my position, but I dropped him as soon as he closed the gap.

With all vagrants neutralized across the sector, I prepared to report to the Western Environmental Observatory.

The tower gave you a great position until the observatory started returning fire. Suddenly that nice high ground didn't look safe anymore. Well done.

That fall from the tower looked like a very unplanned shortcut to the ground. At least you survived it and found some real cover.
