My Actifit Report Card: March 10 2026
Hello my good people. This is my Actifit Report for tuesday the 10/3/2026. We've been having hot weather for sometime now. The sun intensity is still high. Everyone is now calling for some rain to douse and cool the environment.
Actions resumed in the UEFA Champions League with exciting fixtures. Barcelona rescued a point against Newcastle United in the first leg of their round of 16 match. A die- minute penalty from Yamal ensured that the Catalans left St. James Park with a point. That goal broke the hearts of Newcastle fans as tit came as the final kick of the game.
Elsewhere, other English teams were not fortunate on the night. Galatasaray defeated Liverpool (1-0) to have a first leg advantage in the round of 16. That defeat also ensured that Arne Slot's 100th game as Liverpool boss ended in a loss.
That was not even all, Tottenham collapsed in the first half in their game against Athletico Madrid. Spurs were down by (4-0) in the first half only to end the game (5-2). But their fortunes appear to be far better than Atalanta who lost scandalously against German giants Bayern Munich who hammered them by (6-1) at home. I don't see them performing any miracles in Munich in the 2nd leg. They are already down and out.
Having finished these games, I completed some online tasks and then called it a day.
