Zofingen old town

Today I invite you in de charming old town in Zofingen. First here the Pulver turm in Zofingen was probably built in the 14th century, during the reign of Duke Rudolf IV of Austria. It was built as a bastion with an almost square ground plan. Today it is possible to rent for events the upstairs room, which also has a kind of restaurant with 30 places and kitchen without an elevator. I was once up there a very nice view over the city.

On the west side of the tower, there were discovered in 2018 the ruins of a bathhouse, which can be historically dated back to the year 1364.
