Youth Festival

Named Maienzug Festival is a most important festival in Aarau, it has been held for over 400 years and marks the end of the school here. Today was the parade through the citys old town and yesterday a big town party with food stalls, life music and about 25.000 peoples. a blend of tradition and youthful celebration with a lot of beautiful decorated fountains with fresh flowers. Even with some rain, the spirit yesterday doesnt dampen. flowerrepresent the joyof summer, youth, and new beginnings. many scool children wear flower crowns.
