To Engelberg

A few minutes with the train to Engelberg. No matter what kind of weather it is fun with a lot of beautiful views.

Part of our 1978 journey was Lucerne to Engelberg, booked into youth hostels in both.

Train journey was scenic under an hour, onto Mount Titlis to visit our first ice cave at the top, enjoy a bowl of soup then back to the village for the night after a wonderful walk. Your photographs portray little has changed which is a pleasure to the eyes.

From the youth hostel looking up into the mountains after our walk, you can see little has changed. Travel during September out of season.

Enjoyed the visit, an eye opener as to how these small countries run so efficiently.
