Red tower

As I had to pick up a package here in the area it turned into a half day trip which i would like to share with you. The historic fortified tower and gate situated in canton of Schwyz are build about 1323. The tower with stone walls have many levels serving various defensive on this time and narrow windows

Near to there, at lunchtime a local restaurant with very fine food made us happy and satiated. It also included soup and a delicious dessert, which curbed our hunger. all this for only 21.50 CHF.

this time we didn't have enough time for a snow shoes trail, but next time for sure.
