Old and new Spital

Yesterday I visited a family friend in the new hospital; it was my first time at this hospital, and I have to say I generally don't like visiting anyone in the hospital. In Baden, it had been agreed that the old hospital, built abiut 1978, would be demolished as soon as the new building was completed in 2025. In March 2025, the Baden Cantonal Hospital opened its new building. The hospital has a demolition permit for the old building. However, many people are opposing this.
The heritage preservation group wants to preserve it and is initiating discussions, such as about converting it into apartments; the future of the old hospital is currently under legal and political review.
