Lenzburg castle
Today I invite you around the Lenzburg Castle, situated on a hill in the canton of Aargau in Lenzburg city, was built over a period of around 1000 years. The castle serves several different functions, as part of the historical museum and as the home of the Stapferhaus for cultural or private events. Its position is not only beautiful, but also strategically favorable for defense, today for a walk. Its architecture is a mixture of Romanesque and Gothic styles with fortified stone walls and towers and a central keep that has stood since the 11th century. The castle grounds include a french- style garden offering a quiet rest to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
