The recognition by UNESCO as a World Heritage site since 1996 underscores its international renown and importance. The architectural beauty of the monastery and its hilltop setting must truly offer a picturesque and captivating view. It's heartening to know that such a venerable Christian building continues to stand, showcasing both the architectural mastery of its time and the splendid scenery of its location.
