Around the Summer Palace

For today I have a few shots from last year around the Summer Palace about 15 km from Beijing center, China a vast imperial garden and palace complex. It was a retreat for chinese empors features temples and Kunming Lake. A majestic and peaceful place to visit, the combination of grand palaces, gardens and serene lakes creates a feeling of imperial elegance. About 1998 it is on the Word Heritage List
