Amazing Montreux
Today invite you a thirteen kilometer promenade of Montreux along the shore of Lake Geneva. Along the walk exotic flowers and palm trees, restaurants, cafes with a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains over the lake.
Every year the local gardeners decorate the shores with colorfuly flowers. The plant, sculptures created every year seasons a selected theme. Along this lakeside promenade there are also numerous statues, mostly remains of the Biennale of Montreux. The Biennale takes place every two years with the participation of about thirty Swiss and international artists, who create an original which must have more than 2.5 m high.
