Water skiing weekends are awesome

The burble of the motor rises, the pitch increasing as the ski boat picks up speed; The tug of the rope pulls on your hands and you're moving through the water. Pull back and keep the rope low and tight, lean back, push forward with your legs and you're up. Your wake board cuts through the water and the wind flutters your hair about...Faster, faster...As you shift your weight your board slices neatly through the wake and you're on smooth water. The boat turns and you pull back and lean in to pick up speed looking for the wake...There it is and...You hit it...And go airborne...

We went water skiing this weekend with a group of friends. The weather was beautiful, warm but not hot and the water, whilst a little cool, was perfect for fast skiing. In between skiing we had lunch, a barbecue, and played some ball games with the kids. It was a perfect way to spend the weekend.

The above image is the kids on the tube which they love. They're always giving the signal to the spotter to increase the speed and we do, throttling on to push the V8 engine that bit harder, a little faster.

Weekends are designed for fun and we had an awesome one this week!
