#988 - Baler Aurora Shots for Thursday.
Lovely Thursday dearest Hiveans! Life is a canvas they say and you are the artist. Every day is a new stroke of the paint brush and a chance to create something beautiful. So don't be afraid to make mistakes, to experiment or to paint outside them lines. Remember that even those stunning masterpieces have layers of imperfections hidden beneath their surface. So Hiveans, pick up your brush and create your masterpiece.😉
And now for our daily shots this time in Baler. As we journeyed to Baler, Aurora, one morning sun glow over the landscape. We approached the Aurora Trans-basin Dam spanning the narrow road. The dam's single lane width forced other opposite vehicles to take turns and creating a temporary queue on either side. We slowed down and wait for our turn then proceed after the other side has been cleared of vehicles, combination of tricycles and cars.
Arriving in Baler, Aurora Town which was an hour's journey from the dam. Our first stop was the iconic Baler sign, a red concrete landmark that proudly displays the town's name. We posed for photos with each of our smiles wide and genuine while capturing the moment as a reminder of our adventure. The sign which is a popular spot for tourists, was a symbol of Baler's welcoming spirit and its rich history.
Behind the sign is a small area filled with local vendors selling souvenirs. We strolled through the tiny market filled with the chatters of fellow tourists. We browsed through the goods and eventually buying on some refrigerator magnets with representation of Baler's culture and charm.
After purchasing our refrigerator magnets, we took a short stroll to the nearby Baler Church. The church, a historic landmark, was just a few meters from the Baler signage. We walked through the wooden doors and the wooden interior. The simple small church held an aura of peace and serenity. Just across from the church stood the Dona Aurora House which is a well preserved heritage home of the wife of the late president Quezon.
