#975 - More Mount Yangbew Shots for Friday.
Greetings.. Fearless Friday dearest Hive fam! 🚀 Today let us trade ‘what ifs’ for ‘watch me moments.’ Your got stumbles along the way? This just proof you’re climbing higher. The world needs our messy but magnificent tries as we're not perfect. Now let's go outside the lines, high-five a stranger out there and remember: courage is just joy with battle scars😉. Shine bold Hiveans! ✨ #FridayFuel #HiveFire🔥
And now for our daily shots, a Sunrise to Remember at Mount Yangbew.. My wife and I began our hike to Mount Yangbew in the dawn time, the trail was surprisingly gentle compared to other treks we’ve done before in the past. The cool morning air carried the scent of pines as we made our way up gradually. Less than an hour later, we reached the summit just as the golden rays of the sun broke on the horizon. The sky transformed casting a warm glow over the mountain slopes.
There were already a handful of hikers that had gathered at the top, some already busy with their thing, others snapping photos of the unfolding sunrise. We found a quiet spot on the soft grass and sat down, letting the view sink in. Below us, the town of La Trinidad stretched out, its patchwork of strawberry fields and houses looking miniature from this height. Beyond that, the distant silhouette of Baguio City, its urbanized detail softened by the layers of mountains on it.
The atmosphere was peaceful up here—no loud chatter, just the occasional clicks the blowing of winds. My wife leaned against me, both of us content to watch the sun climb higher while light slowly warming our faces. It wasn’t a dramatic, heart pounding summit but that’s what made it special. Sometimes, the simplest moments like sitting together on a grassy hill, watching the world wake up are the ones that stick with you long after the hike is over.
