#963 - Mount Yangbew Shots for Tuesday.
Happy Tuesday dearest Hive fam!🌤️ Today, let us trade perfect for progress. Each small step is a definite victory however small. Let us pause to appreciate how far we’ve come, not just how far we have to go. Kindness to our fellow is the real superpower😉. The world needs that unique light so keep shining it boldly! ✨ #TuesdayTruth #Hiveheart
Now for our daily shots, an easy rewarding morning trek to Mount Yangbew. My wife and I began our trek to Mount Yangbew in the cold dark dawn with our breath visible in the air. The trail was gentle compared to other hikes we’ve done in the past, manageable even for beginners. As we made our way up, the sky slowly transitioned to deep blue and by the time we reached the summit, the sun was already peeking over the horizon.
A small groups of hikers who had arrived before us were already enjoying the view and their cameras capturing the golden light over the mountains. The cold morning air was relaxing and the sunrise painted the sky in warm colors, making the hike completely worth it. From the summit, we had a breathtaking panoramic view of Baguio and La Trinidad’s urban areas of concrete buildings, roads and houses stretching out below us,erected in those rolling green hills in the distance.
Despite the easy hike, the sense of accomplishment was real given the fresh air that one can benefit from. We sat on the grass for a while sipping our drinks and eating boiled eggs while watching the world wake up beneath us. It was a peaceful, and a meditative experience and that reminded us that you don’t always need a grueling climb to find beauty and serenity.
