#951 - Sunrise Shots at Mt. Yangbew of La Trinidad Benguet this Saturday.
Happy Saturday dearest Hiveans! Today, let’s embrace the joy of slowing down. Weekends are a chance to recharge, reflect and reconnect with what truly matters. Take a moment to appreciate the little things like a warm cup of coffee, a good book or a walk in nature with your people. Remember that taking rest is not laziness but it’s essential for our growth. Use this day to nourish your mind, body and soul. We all deserve it, my wife and I went out early also today for a quick jog and ww completed about six kilometers, not much but it's honest exercise to keep the bosy healthy. Keep shining and let’s make today meaningful! 🐝✨ #SaturdayWisdom #HiveBalance
And now for our daily shots allow me to Last Tuesday my wife and I went on an early morning hike at Mt. Yangbew in La Trinidad, Benguet in a taxi cab while we're on an overnight stay at Baguio city, we took the scenic yet challenging tallgrass Jumbo trail where the cab drop us off. The air was cold and crisp and the sky was just beginning to lighten as we started our ascent.
The trail was surrounded by towering grasses and rugged terrain and felt like stepping into a hidden world but we're careful not to disturb any snakes around haha. However, our adventure took an unexpected turn when we somehow got lost our way. Thankfully, we encountered kind locals who guided us back to the right path.
As we continued our hike, the sun began to rise already casting a golden glow over the mountainous landscape. By the time we reached the summit, the sky was fully lit and there's some people there too but the temperature remained cold and windy also adding to the exhilarating experience.
The panoramic view from the top was breathtaking, with rolling hills and distant mountains stretching as far as the eye could see, houses of the locals in those mountains. It was a moment of pure awe and gratitude.
The grassy trail often used by horses and cows as a path added a unique charm to the hike. Walking through the tall grasses while feeling the earth beneath our feet and at the same hearing the rustle of the wind. It was a humbling reminder of the simplicity and beauty of the natural world.
Our hike at Mt. Yangbew was more than just a physical journey for us but you see the kindness of strangers willing to help when you are lost. Despite getting lost, we found our way on the trail and in our shared experience. It was a morning filled with adventure, discovery and a deep appreciation for the wonders of the outdoors which we seldom experienced.
