#946 - National Museum of Fine Arts Shots for Saturday.
Peaceful Saturday greetings to us all fellow Hiveans worldwide. May this day bring serenity, joy and harmony. Wishing you all a calm morning filled with love, laughter and tranquility. May your hearts be forgiving, your spirits be uplifted and your day be blessed with positive vibes.
Allow me once again to tour us back to the country's National Museum of Fine Arts. One afternoon on a weekend last January, my wife, son and I decided to visit the National Museum of Fine Arts in Manila. As we stepped inside, we were immediately immersed in the rich history and culture of our country the Philippines. The museum's grand architecture and beautifully curated and maintained exhibits showcased the Philippines' heritage and we explored it all. What made our visit even more special was that there was no entrance fee making it accessible to everyone who wants to spend quality time with their family here while learning more of our country history.
As we walked through the galleries, we were struck by the sheer number of people who had also taken advantage of the free admission. Families, students, friends and art enthusiasts alike filled the halls, seemed united by a shared curiosity and appreciation to our cultural history. The atmosphere was lively and there's also air-conditioning, there's children running around and learning about the country's history while their old people explain as much as they could the stories and memories of the past to their little ones.
We spent a couple of hours admiring the works of famous Filipino artists including Juan Luna, Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo and Fernando Amorsolo among others. The museum's collection was impressive with pieces that dated back to the Spanish colonial period as well as more modern and contemporary works, some artworks were lent by prominent people who owned it. My wife and I were drawn to the paintings and historical artifacts. As we explored the museum, we gained a refreshing and deeper understanding and appreciation of our country's complex history, its people and artistic expressions.
The National Museum of Fine Arts is a treasure trove of Philippine culture and we felt grateful to have experienced it once again together as a family, we were here first time when my son was still small. With its free admission this is a place that everyone can enjoy, regardless of age or background.
