#822 - Flower Farm Shots for Sunday.
It's finally my first day of rest and early today after my shift handover at six in the morning, I already prepared the washing machine so I could wash the laundry we had for a week. Since I was able to somehow nap during my shift for few minutes I think my body can keep going with the washing of the laundry and will just sleep it off later okce done. I finally completed the activity at around ten in the morning and so I went to sleep and woke up at three in the afternoon. That's when we went to the university in the nearby city for some walk wherein we completed atleast six kilometers. I wanted my son to join us so we could also exercise his body as he is always on tje screen half of the day. Also, tomorrow early in the morning at seven we will go to the theater for his going up ceremony together with his fellow classmates and other graduating students from elementary to high school. I will tell more tomorrow about it.
For our daily shots as mentioned we got here photos at the Northern Blossom flowers farm right at the town proper of the small town of Atok which can be found also along the steep rode of the Halsema highway spanning from the city of pines all the way to the Bontok Mountain Province which spans around 150 kilometers of road. Travelling this zigzag road on steep mountains take a lot of time because it's dubbed as the most dangerous city in the country because of it's high elevation and deep ditches right on the side of the road since the road is paved in the mountains of the Cordillera. It takes practice also to drive in this kind pf terrain because of the danger as it's only a one lane per direction so overtaking is really for those pro drivers. I got used to it when we went to Sagada and I can attest that it's indeed the most dangerous road I have driven so far. Upon arrival after paying the entrance and environmental fee we went ahead together with other visitors in exploring the farm. Here's the wife posing with these nice looking pinkish/orange flowers.
Right here is a magnificent view of a portion of the flower farm showing some varieties of the flowers they have been growing here regularly. Then we could also see some numbers of people who are already in this same area that are exploring it just like us. Then in the background is the cloudy or foggy region of some of the Cordillera mountain ranges. The highest peak in the country is also found here in this region.
Next shot still shows the wife on a squat sitting position so I could take this photo together with these small purple flowers which look like lavenders but do not. I tried googling it and it shows the name Limonium Sinuatumsea? It's kinda hard to spell and pronounce too.
Then still the lovely wife together with the nice looking and blooming group of sunflowers which were also facing the sun direction as the sun rises from the high mountains of the Cordillera. The flowers are big and some of the flowers lost their petals already which means their past over their prime. The height of the plants are not too tall at all.
Then lastly we got here a wide view shot of some of the area of the farm which is dedicated only for these great looking purple and white rose cabbages. There's several of them and there's like an interval with the colors on how the plants were planted to make it uniform and pleasing to the eyes. The fog in this early morning were still low as it covered majority of the surrounding mountains. There is also a viewing deck on the right as we can see and there's also several people there appreciating the nature we experienced that day.
Follow me on my nature travels.
