#519 - Batad shots for today.

Good Sunday evening fellow beautiful Hiveans. The typhoon is already out of our country and left a devastating effect from the north to the south of the archipelago. A lot of areas and regions were not spared by this huge typhoon that made a mess. The local and national government is there doing all they can so everyone that were affected will be taken care of. Unfortunately there were loss of lives too because of land slides.

Moving forward to our shots today, let me share these colorful photos while we were on our way to the viewing area of the mountain to have a better view of the rice terraces. We can see here some of the houses of the locals and also the rice fields which still don't have any rice planted yet because they plant here once a year only due to the climate which is always cold.

Another shot of the rice terraces carved in the mountain. Far away are the houses of the locals and one of those is the house we were staying at. It was the same house we booked before when we first came here in 2018.

Now this is a shot showing most of the rice terraces and most of the houses of the locals. The view is like an amphitheater from where we were standing and it was breath taking too.

Another zoom shot which shows the elevation going down. There are also people going down the stairs and they could be on their way going to the Tappiya falls which will be our destination too in the later part of the journey.
