#1209 - Some Baguio City Shots for Saturday.

Hello dearest Hive family and a very happy Saturday to us all! I hope you woke up feeling completely refreshed, maybe even without the alarm clock. There are no strict schedules to follow today. Just let the morning flow naturally. If you do head out, take your time and enjoy the world outside. Wishing everyone a relaxed and stress-free Saturday😊!

Moving now to our daily shots with my wife, my son Joaquin and a bunch of our relatives wanted to experience the cold, pine scented magic of Baguio, so we happily volunteered to be their guides for the day.

Our first stop was The Mansion, specifically the Wright Park fountain area. Usually, you go here to see the famous Mansion structure but since it was still early and the gate was closed, we just walked up to the gates and didn't mind not going inside. Then we crossed the road stood right by the end of the long water front and had a bunch of photos of my wife, Joaquin and I with the white building in the background.

After that, we drove down to the Mines View Park. This is always a favorite spot also. The relatives had a fun plan: they wanted to rent the traditional Igorot costumes. It was hilarious watching us guys put on the native attires and the ladies wore the traditional wrap. We spent a good half an hour here taking photos of everyone in their full traditional gear.

Being the designated driver meant we had to take care of road. From the entrance fees at the parks to the costume rentals and all the food and snacks, our relatives made sure everything was paid for. It felt good they treat the family and in return we show them a really good time. By the time we finished up at Mines View, we were all tired but incredibly happy and hungry. That's when we decided to have lunch in one of the restaurants nearby.
