#1205 - Igorot Stone Kingdom Shots for Friday.

Moving now to our daily shots one cloudy noon when we went up to the Igorot Stone Kingdom in Baguio City. The sun was hiding behind clouds which was actually a blessing because it meant we wouldn't be under the heat while walking around.

I was with my wife and a few of our good friends and this was already our third time visiting this park but our friends had never seen it yet. So we just tagged along to accompany them and play as tour guides for the day😂. They also brought their energetic black dog.

If you haven't been to the Stone Kingdom, it's basically a massive, maze like park made almost entirely out of rocks and stones. Walking through the entrance, you're immediately greeted by these towering stone walls and castle-like structures that look like they belong in a fantasy.

Even though it was our third time seeing it, the place honestly didn't disappoint. There's just something about the volume of rocks used to build everything...the archways, the benches, the towering pillars...it makes you stop and stare in awe.

Our friends were blown away looking at the high stone structures and the intricate little pathways. The black dog was having a blast too, happily trotting ahead of us on the rocky trails, sniffing around every corner and leading the way.

Since our friends were having so much fun exploring, my wife and I also took the opportunity to do what we do best which is to take lots of photos. The cloudy sky provided a nice, soft lighting for pictures. My wife and I took turns being the photographer.

I would pose against the giant stone walls, making sure to capture the giant rock formations and then we'd switch. She'd take pictures of me looking out. We went back and forth, one after another, taking as many shots as we could while also laughing.

We spent a good amount of the noon just walking around, taking our time and finding new angles we might have missed. By the time we finished looping around the upper levels of the stone kingdom, our legs were tired from all the climbing and hungry with smiles on our faces.
