#1182 - Igorot Stone Kingdom Shots for Sunday.

A peaceful Sunday dearest amazing Hive family scattered all over the world! I hope this day finds you in comfort and enjoying a much slower pace. Sundays have a unique magic to them. Wishing everyone a safe, calm and refreshing Sunday. Take care of yourselves and enjoy the rest of your weekend❤️!

Moving now to our daily shots one noon time when my wife, our group of friends and I were at the Igorot Stone Kingdom in Baguio City. The sun was high up in the sky but it was gloomy. My wife and I actually visited this place a couple of years ago but our friends had never been. Still we decided to drive them so they could experience the place for themselves.

As we walked through the entrance and paid our fees, I could immediately see the look of surprise on our friends faces. I was still just as impressed. The Igorot Stone Kingdom is not your typical park with concrete pathways. Almost everything you set your eyes on is made of stone here. From the walls that look like ancient castle fortresses to the winding staircases were rocks which is mind-boggling.

We spent the next hour or so just walking around, exploring the different levels and corners of the park. Our friends were busy taking their photos, posing beside the giant stone sculptures and the arranged rock mosaics. The cool Baguio breeze kept us comfortable enough to keep climbing up and down the steps.

Looking at the massive stone pillars and heavy boulders perfectly stacked on top of each other, I tried to imagine how long it took them to build this massive park. You can easily tell that these rocks were meticulously placed by hand, one by one. The dedication and physical labor required to move all them huge number of rocks is truly beyond comprehension. It is a modern marvel of hard work.

By the time we finished our tour, our friends were exhausted same with us but completely amazed. Driving them here to the Stone Kingdom was definitely the right call.
