Moving now to our daily shots one bright late morning in Baguio City with my wife, our son Joaquin and I with our visiting relatives at one of rhe famous tourist spots called Mines View Park. Our relatives were first timers in Baguio so we made sure to include this destination in our itinerary.

When we arrived, the park was already filled with people. We walked through the entrance after paying ten peso entrance fee per person. The place was alive with the sounds of vendors selling everything from small plants to Pasalubong or souvenirs.

We saw the stalls renting out traditional Igorot costumes manned by senior citizens trying to make a living. Our relatives suggested we all dress up for a fun family photoshoot. We all picked out our traditional outfits. It was quite a sight to see all of us transformed into Igorot warriors and maidens. We were having a blast laughing at each others.

We started taking lots of photos right there before the viewing deck. Our goal was to get a group photo with the mountain view in the background but we were quickly stopped by the staff. Unfortunately, they informed us that visitors wearing the rented Igorot costumes are not allowed to go to the actual viewing deck area.

Since we couldn't break the rules, we settled taking our remaining costume photos in the designated photo-op zones away from the edge. After we felt we had taken enough pictures, we returned the outfits. Only then did we finally walk up to the metal railings to admire the view.
