#1167 - Ilocos Norte Shots for Saturday.
A cheerful Saturday my beautiful wonderful Hive family all around the world! The weekend is finally here, make sure to enjoy it your way. Wishing everyone a safe, relaxing and fun filled Saturday. Stay awesome, keep Hiving and enjoy every bit of your weekend🤗.
Moving now to our daily shots during our trip to Ilocos Norte when we went to see the famous Bangui Windmills. I was driving with my wife, our son Joaquin and our good friend Dandreb. The windmills stood like silent white giants lined up perfectly along the shore of the Ilocos sea. It was a sunny day and the warm sun was beating down on us and other visitors who came to see the giants.

We spent about an hour here. We walked along the rocky beach and looked up at these massive structures spinning slowly. It felt humbling to stand next to something so huge and powerful. We took plenty of pictures, although photos hardly do them justice.

After our hour with the giants, we drive further north towards the town of Pagudpud. Our next stop was the iconic Patapat Viaduct. It is a long bridge that curves along the coastline of Ilocos Norte with the rugged mountain on one side.

We drove across slowly, enjoying the scenic view then decided to pull over at a safe spot so we could get out and explore. My wife, son, Dandreb and I went near the concrete railing. We took turns snapping photos against the backdrop of the long bridge stretching out into the distance. Standing here with my family and watching the waves and the traffic go by, was a perfect memory of our trip.
