#1115 - Casa Manila Shots Inside Intramuros for Thursday.
Hello once again fantastic Hive community! Sending you a warm Thursday greetings to every single one around the globe. May your Thursday be productive, your coffee be hot. Stay safe even these tough days, keep smiling and let's all make this day count together😉.
Moving now to our daily shots just after a delicious morning adventure in Chinatown, Binondo where my wife and I stuffed ourselves with yummy street Chinese foods, that's when we realized we needed to do some walking to burn off some of those calories.

We decided to go to Intramuros, the Walled City of Manila which was just a short ride away. One of our destination was the famous Casa Manila which captures the colonial history of the Philippines.

Upon arriving, the atmosphere is a more serene and historic vibe compared to noisy Chinatown 😂. We entered the courtyard of this Casa Manila and were still struck by the grandeur of the structure even though we've been here several times.

It is a beautiful replica of a Spanish colonial houses and it really feel like stepping back in time. The courtyard was open with a stone fountain in the center. We spent a good amount of time just walking around admiring the thick stone walls and the carvings on the wooden doors.

My wife and I are both amateur photography enthusiasts with different tastes. We took turns snapping photos with the architectures. We framed shots of the staircase. It was fascinating to see how the wealthy Spanish colonizers lived during this era. Every corner seemed to have a story.

We strolled through the different stalls or rooms. We explored the surroundings while taking pictures of the old buildings and structures that complemented the Spanish-era theme.

We spent a good amount of time here digesting in the history and enjoying the peaceful ambiance. It was a great way to spend the morning while combining a bit of exercise.

It was the perfect follow-up to our food trip from Chinatown, the experience giving us a deeper appreciation for Manila’s rich past while burning calories at the same time😊.
