#1114 - Flowers and Critters Shots for Tuesday.

Moving now to our daily shots, once upon a time when my wife and I decided to explore some quiet parts of the City of Pines. It was a beautiful day, perfect for wandering around and seeing what nature had to offer. As we strolled along a less traveled path in one of its parks, we found a little spot that was full of life. It turned out to be a day filled with fascinating small critters and vibrant flowers.

The first thing that caught our eyes were bright pink zinnias blooming proudly as if their petals looking neat and layered and right next to them were the familiar yellow Singapore daisies glowing under the sunlight.

We leaned in closer and saw several bees and different types of flies landing on most of their blossoms. The critters were hard at work, flying from one flower to another gathering pollen. It was amazing to watch them up close especially in a lens, as they're ignoring us completely.

As we moved further along there's some wild vegetation growing on the side. There were these lovely wild purple flowers which I think were silver leaf in name based in Google search. These wild flowers were also popular with the tiny bugs. We saw a couple of bees hovering around and enjoying the nectar.

On the wild plants nearby, there was a patch of dried dead leaves with a small grasshopper resting perfectly still on top of one of the leaves. The critter blend in perfectly well.

We spent soke good amount of time just observing this tiny critters and the beautiful flowers in just a small corner of the city.

My wife and I took photos and pointed things out interesting, enjoying the simple pleasure of discovery. It was a refreshing day for us which reminds us of the beauty hidden in the tiniest details of nature.
