#1112 - Northern Blossom Flowers Farm in Atok Shots for Thursday.

Here's our shots of the day when the air was crisp and cold as we stepped out of our workhorse before six in the morning when we arrived in the highlands of Atok, Benguet at the famous Northern Blossom Flowers Farm.

I was here with my wife, my son and several wife's relatives who had decided to join us on this adventure. Since some of our relatives were visiting for the first time, we wanted to make sure they experience the farm at its best which meant catching the early morning chill and the sunrise.

The cold wind immediately woke us up as it was refreshing, unlike anything you feel in the polluted cities in the lowlands. We spent the next two hours leisurely strolling through every part of the farm, taking our time to appreciate the beauty around us, the incredible variety of flowers that were in full bloom.

One thing that caught my eye were these rose cabbages. They looked like giant, white roses that's unique and fascinating to see up close. My relatives were amazed by them too, snapping photo after photo.

We then wandered towards the hydrangeas with their large, colorful clusters that were stunning, filled the landscape with shades of pink, blue, and purple.

There were also these bright marigolds, adding pops of vibrant orange and yellow to the scenery. There were so many other kinds of beautiful flowers as well. The rows of blooms stretched out like a set against a backdrop of rolling mountains and Mount Pulag in the background.

We couldn't help but stop constantly to pose for pictures every garden of flowers. The light was getting better as the sun started to rise. Laughter filled the air as my family and relatives enjoyed the simple joy of being surrounded by nature.

It was heartwarming to see the smiles on our relatives faces especially those who were seeing this place for the very first time. They were in awe of the vast flower fsrm and the cold mountain weather.

We had spent roughly two wonderful hours just soaking in the beauty of Northern Blossom here in Atok Benguet. It was a truly great morning time for everyone, full of memories that we would all cherish. It was indeed a perfect way to start our day in the highlands Benguet.
