#1082 - Flowers at Baguio Botanical Garden Shots for Sunday.

Moving on to our daily shots, here's some experience when we got into the Baguio Botanical Garden where our attention is immediately stolen by a vibrant flowers of orange and white dahlias.

Their large blooms look almost too perfect to be real. But the real show is the hum surrounding them were honeybees that are everywhere, diving into the centers of them dahlias. The bees were busy from one bloom to the other while ignoring us the admiring visitors.

As we continued to wander further along the garden paths, the garden reveals more. Towering above were hanging bells of the Angel's Trumpet flowers, some people from lowlands used this as psychedelic drugs but this is dangerous when smoked or consumed. We also saw Blue Ginger flower cones that seems to glow against the green background.

The garden is like a mixture of the soft and the sharp colors; in one section there's fluffy clusters of purple hydrangeas and just around the corner inside a greenhouse were proud collection of cactus and succulents.

But the Botanical garden holds more than just Philippine flora. There's also a vibrant red torii gate standing proudly against the green leading to an underground cave system. Walking under its curved bar feels like stepping through a portal, momentarily transporting you to the dark tranquil cave. Not far from it, sits a Buddhist statue. The figure looks calm in expression while standing in peaceful meditation, an invitation for you to pause and reflect. These structures are like some kind of reminders of harmony and peace of some spiritual calm.
