#1078 - Shots at The Window Going to Mount Tabayoc for Saturday.
Great Saturday morning dearest Hiveans across the world! A wonderfully relaxing Saturday to us all. I hope you get to slow down and just chill today. You've more than earned this beautiful break. May your Saturday be as peaceful and wonderful as you are. Enjoy it to the absolute fullest😍.
Moving now to our daily shots, our day started early that time with the first light of dawn just beginning to come out from the sky. At six o'clock sharp, me, my wife, our friend Dandreb and our local lady guide just set off from the transient house which is also our jump-off point in Kabayan, Benguet. The air was cold and fresh like mint.

The first part of our journey was gentle, we just walked for about a kilometer on a meadow path that went through the vast carrots farmlands of the local community. The carrots have their vibrant green leaves which was a beautiful and peaceful start.

After the farmlands, the real hike began. We now reached the true base of Mount Tabayoc and the forest trail turned into a nonstop uphill assault. There were no more flat sections but just continuous climbs.

The path was a mix of earth, tree roots and rocks and our leg muscles definitely felt the burn at this point our hearts pumping. We took our time, stopping every now and then to catch our breaths and of course, to take photos of the surroundings and the valley that was slowly fading away below us.

After about more than an hour of this breathing climb, we reached a spot our guide called "The Window." It was exactly that, just a natural clearing in the tree branches that suddenly opened up to a breathtaking view.

For the first time, we could see all the way back down to the community where we were staying. The houses looked like tiny dots and the morning fog was still there on the hills. The sight was so rewarding and beautiful that it made all the effort to get here worthwhile.

We spent a good amount of time here at The Window, just resting our legs and drinking plenty of water and ate some snack. We took lots of photos to capture the magnificent scenery with the vast landscape behind our smiling sweaty faces.

As we started once again to leave, our lady guide pointed ahead to the steeper path leading upward haha. We knew the journey to the summit was still a long hours way ahead, however standing here at The Window just filled us all with a sense of big accomplishment already and we all felt ready and excited for the next hours of our adventure. More to follow😉.

You have presented us with an extraordinary scene. Personally, I like the second location and the last photography the most. There is a different kind of beauty hidden within nature, and you have presented that through your photography.
Thank you
