#1076 - National Museum of Fine Arts Shots for Tuesday.
Good morning greetings dearest Hiveans across the world! A bright and hopeful Tuesday to us all. This day brings us with it a wonderful sense of new energy and new possibility. It's a perfect time to move forward. Wishing you a Tuesday that is fulfilling. Keep shining your light😍.
Now for our daily shots it was on a Sunday noon when the sun was bright and warm that's when my family, my wife, our son and I also joined the huge number of people heading into the old building of the National Museum of Fine Arts in Manila, our capital in the Philippines. One of the best things about it was that the entrance was free, making it a perfect outing for everyone. The grand hall upon our entry was buzzing with lots of energy and filled with other families, groups of friends and students and love birds, all there to spend their quality weekend surrounded by arts and history.

We made our first viewing with the most famous piece which is the Spoliarium by Juan Luna into that high ceiling hall. The painting is absolutely gigantic from floor to almost the high ceiling and the dramatic scene of fallen gladiators being dragged away looks sad. It did get everyone attention, locals and even foreigners who came to the museum. The challenge though was that we were not alone and there's constant crowd gathered in front of it, everyone trying to get their own photo opportunity. It was tough to find a spotless moment for a picture with just us and the painting. We managed to snap a few including a selfie of the three of us with the massive canvas behind.

After spending some time in the Spoliarium, we went off to explore the other rooms. The museum is a lots of rooms filled with art with galleries spread across different floors. We wandered from one room to the next one. We saw all sorts of paintings from the Philippine countryside, portraits of people from our history and even abstract arts. The artworks were from many different local Filipino artists and too many to remember all their names, but each piece under their names was classy in its own unique way.

The most wonderful part of the day wasn't just the art itself, it was also the time we spent together as a family. We walked slowly hand in hand with wife while pointing out details we liked to our son and talking about stuffs we saw. We also laughed when we got lost in the corridors even though it's our second time being here. I also watched my wife and son sharing a moment in front of some of the paintings and it's a happy feeling.

After a couple of hours exploring, our feet were tired from walking all the different floors and rooms. But the feeling of tiredness was completely relieved by contentment or accomplishment we had and it was all worth it. We left with photos and with our family experience and the precious memory of a day spent together, just walking, talking and just being a family together.
