#1062 - Siargao Island Shots for Tuesday.

Good morning dearest Hiveans across the Earth! A bright and promising Tuesday to us all hopefully. Let's make use of our positive energy into everything we do. Wishing you lots a Tuesday that is both fulfilling and peaceful. Keep moving forward, we are doing great😉.

For our daily shots, looking back at these old photos of our from Siargao really brings back nostalgia memories. Right after we arrived at our hotel, my wife and I dropped our bags, rented an automatic motorbike and headed straight for the famous Cloud 9 surfing area. There's the long wooden boardwalk stretching out over the water and below the shallow rocky shores. It was the icon of the island and had survived many calamities but then we saw on tv a big typhoon had washed it away a few years back. It made me imagine how incredible lucky we were being there when it was still standing.

We explored the shore itself and the beach wasn't the typical wide, sandy type but it was kinda a bit rocky, with these interesting formations and shallow waters. But that didn't take away from its beauty at all but serves as it's natural charm. We walked along the edge where there's sands. The sound of the ocean can be heard loud even if the deep area is far.

Even from the shore, we could see them surfers far out in the distance with the big waves. They looked like tiny dots waiting and riding for the perfect wave. No wonder this spot attracted surfers from all over the country and from different corners of the world. You could feel that vibe right there on the beach even if the walk to the rocky shore takes some time reaching the waves.

Our throwback photos with the iconic boardwalk and the ocean behind us remind us of that feeling of pure awe of seeing such a legendary place and feeling the power of nature and witnessing the how the people who come to challenge it do their thing. It was the perfect start to our Siargao adventure that day and hopefully we could return one more time.
