#1059 - Beautiful Dingalan Aurora Shots for Wednesday.

Good day once again dearest Hiveans across the globe! Remember to take a breath and appreciate small things. Let's make this day count with focused energy and positive steps. Keep going, we're doing great😉.

Now for our daily shots this time in Aurora. On our first day here at noon time we went straight for an adventure to the "Batanes of the East" our trip started not on a trail but at their fish port. We rented a simple fishing boat that would be our ride across the water and to share the costs, we teamed up with a family who also wanted to hike there.. so my wife, our friend and I joined them for both the boat trip and our lady guide for the hike. The ride was amazing along the coastal area.

Then after around 10 to 15 minutes of boat ride, we landed on a rocky shore and started our hike with high hopes. The trail though had other plans. It rained the night before and that made the path really wet and slippery,can 💯 muddy challenge. To make things more difficult, my wife and I were not wearing proper trekking sandals which we left behind. She had flip-flops and I was just wearing my Nike slippers and that's when we realized our mistake. Every step was a battle because our feet were sliding and sinking in the mud with rocks, it's somehow painful too. It was tough and we had to move slowly and grabbed on roots, twigs and rocks to keep our balance.

But after that slippery struggle, we finally made it to the top and let me tell you guys, the view was absolutely breathtaking up there! The rugged green hills with the blue sea in a stunning panorama. It was windy up there too and that strong breeze helped washed away all our stress and struggles from the climb. We spent almost an hour just sitting and standing there, seeing the magnificent scenery and feeling a sense of this accomplishment.

Then finally we had to go down unfortunately, the return trip was the same struggle, sliding and slipping in our useless slippers haha. We were laughing at ourselves the whole way, my wife even almost cried and vowed to never ever wear slippers on a hike again😂! Despite the struggles, it was an incredible and unforgettable experience, it's was kinda messy, challenging and beautiful hike that made this experience for the best stories so far we encountered😍.
