#1058 - Lubong Waterfalls in Zambales Shots for Monday.
Good day dearest Hiveans across the globe! A fresh new week is here. Hope you're all feeling refreshed and ready for this brand new week. Wishing you a Monday that is both peaceful and filled with purpose. Have a wonderful start to your week.
Now for our daily shots in Zambales during our two nights of stay there as our original plan for the morning was to swim in the sea but a recent typhoon had made the ocean into a dangerous fury and we were told it was off limits til the storm has passed. For a moment, we thought our day was rekt but the good thing was we had an alternative waiting thanks to my wife who checked on other tourists spots nearby, it was the Lubong-Nangoloan Falls which was only a few minutes away from the little transient we were staying at.

So my wife, our three friends and their dog and I set off on an epic adventure. The first part of the journey was something straight out of a classic province settings. We climbed onto a wooden cart with big wheels which was pulled by a small yet powerful carabao. It was a slow, bumpy and fun ride that made us all feel like explorers😂.

After the carabao cart dropped us off near the river, we had to walk the final stretch where we navigated a small stream with the cool water around our ankles. The sound of the waterfall grew louder with each step as we get closer.

When we arrived, the sight of the falls was breathtaking. The waterfalls was a beautiful curtain of white water tumbling down mossy rocks, there was a typhoon but to my surprise, the water was clear. There was a few number of tourists there which made a place just for us alone, it's not congested at all, then we rented a small cottage for us to stay as I was not feeling well that time but still game.

My team immediately get into the cold, knee deep water. The dog also decided he wanted in too and started splashing around. We spent the next couple of hours just like that.. sitting on the rocks, walking in the shallow waters. It was a morning of laughter, natural beauty and a wonderful and unplanned adventure that turned out to be far better than any sea swim.
