#1047 - A Shot of Beer at Baguio Craft Brewery for Sunday.

Moving now to our daily shots, after a satisfying dinner of cheap street food at the bustling night market one cool Baguio evening. It was around ten o'clock and we decided to extend the night with one more stop, we wanted to return to the cozy Baguio Craft Brewery. Stepping inside was an immediate relief from the cold Baguio night but it was a weekend and there's lot of people and noise too.

We found a table and settled in, ready to sample the new local flavors. The three of us each ordered a tall full glass of a different craft beer. The choices were with unique names and descriptions and alcohol content. I scanned the menu and decided on a strong, dark brew that the board indicated had an alcohol content of around 10% which is the highest that evening. My wife and a friend chose something lighter and fruitier in flavor.

We also ordered a large plate of nachos which is a perfect savory finger food paired with the cold craft beers. The crispy tortilla chips in melted cheese and salsa were a great contrast to the flavors of our beers. Though we only had one large glass of craft each, the local beer was potent that our friend got red face 😂. The high alcohol craft certainly lived up to its reputation, delivering a kick with every sip.

Sitting there in the warm and noisy brewery, it wasn't about getting drunk but it was again about the experience, the rich taste of local craftsmanship and the shared laughter and the simple pleasure of a strong, good beer perfectly on a cold Baguio City mountain night.
