#1045 - Testing Phone Macro Photography Shots on Flowers and Bees for Thursday.
A bright Thursday to our amazing Hive family across the globe! The weekend is almost insight. So let's channel this positive Thursday vibe into everything we do. May your day be peaceful while setting up for a fantastic Friday😉.
Now for our daily shots this time about macro photography where I used my wife phone to capture these vivid upclose shots of the tiny world. After paying the high entrance fee of a hundred pesos each for the three of us non residents of Baguio ,we were allowed entrance through the gate and into the quiet, cool embrace of the Baguio City Botanical Garden. The air was filled with the scent of pine trees and rich greens surrounding us. We joined about hundreds of visitors like us "lowlanders" or from the Metro and not locally.

The garden was a greens haven with winding paths leading us past towering pine trees and flowerbeds. There were gentle mix of distant chatter, kids running around and some chirping of birds like crows which are common here. We wandered just following the different paths and see what beauty we would discover.

Then we got to an area with vibrant bed of dahlias with some in full bloom. Their colors were a mix of full vividly oranges and clear whites. But the flowers weren't the only attraction as we looked closer there's tiny persistent bees collecting pollens. The bees moved from one flower to the next while undisturbed by our presence.

I saw some opportunity here and took my wife's phone and leaned in to focus on the busy bee that was deep in the petals of this bright orange dahlia flower. The phone’s camera struggled some but still got these descent shots.

Just a few feet away, there are white dahlias with a different kind of beauty. The bees visiting the flowers stood out even more against the pure white petals and got some shots of them in macro though it was further because there were railings on the garden and can't get close enough to the flowers. It was a peaceful fulfilling process of connection with the tiny insect world of nature.

Appreciating nature and its natural processes is quite a spectacle. The photos are very good, capturing the little bees in their productive work.
