#1033 - Early morning run, Critters and Coffee and Matcha with a View for Sunday.

Greetings beautiful Hiveans this Sunday. May this day bring unexpected adventures and cherished moments. Cheers to a Sunday filled with joy, connection and the magic of shared experiences. Stay amazing always and remember that we're all part of this wonderful Hive journey.

Now for our daily shots. My wife's alarm blared at 5am that's when my wife and I laced up our running shoes. Then we drive to University of the Philippines Diliman Campus for 5mins which was our chosen battleground for today instead of the Marikina Sports Center. After a 4min warm up, we jogged through the campus with the cool air and the sight of fellow runners, some of them participating in a fun run by PhilHealth. The seven-kilometer circling the oval was tiresome but fun. The trees, mostly acacia provided cover and fresh air.

After our almost an hour run, we decided to head to Boso Boso in Antipolo, Rizal for breakfast. There's this roadside eatery on a curved road and stoof in the lush greenery of the province. We ordered their Pares, a hearty soup made from tender beef and also added fried eggs as a source of protein which is good after a run. With our bellies full for only $3, we decided to sip a cup of coffee and matcha in a stall near Shell Gas Station still in Boso Boso. As we waited for our orders, a tiny critter caught my attention on a steel bar and it was a jumping spider with beard, so it could be old. I capture this tiny being of nature which was surprisingly friendly and not evasive it even allowed me to get up close. I even got my index finger close to it and using it as a reference for its size.

As our matcha and coffee arrived, I bid a silent farewell to the spider which jumped somewhere on the wall never to be seen again. The matcha with its creamy texture and good taste was a perfect end to our morning adventure. That encounter with the jumping spider, the breakfast and the fulfilling run had all contributed to a day filled with satisfaction. We went home after an hour maybe and went to the market in Marikina town proper to buy a kilo or brown rice which we add to our white rice. It was a great day and in the afternoon, it rained once again 😅.
