#1029 - Baler Aurora Fishport Shots for Saturday.

Now for our daily shots this time in Aurora. As soon as the sun had begun its ascent, we have arrived at the Baler Fishport around seven in the morning. The port is in a state of quiet probably we're late when the fishermen arrived from the sea since they come to shore before the day breaks. The air was cool and with the faint scent of saltwater.

There were few people in the area, some were vendors tending their stores. There were also traveling locals with bags and baskets and belongings, they were all waiting patiently for a boat that would ferry them to the other side of the island, public transport here by land is rare so they chose boats instead.

We somehow strolled along the perimeter of the Port to get some sun vitamins for our morning. The area was a blend of concrete but functional port with some weathered wooden structures.

We then ended up at a small stall, one among a few in the corner of the port. The humble stall was run by a cheerful woman with her family who greeted us with a warm smile. They offered simple satisfying breakfast, fried rice topped with fried egg and hotdog. The coffee choice was in sachets but was strong and the perfect combination to our meal. We sat on their long wooden stools while savoring the breakfast.

As we ate, the locals still wait for the boat to leave and perhaps there is not enough passengers yet to cover the cost of gas for the journey hence it takes time before they leave. We spent a few more minutes after our meal, enjoying the silence and calm in this fish port with the blue waters and skies before us, it was a good start of the day, then we went out to continue our journey to visit other spots in this Aurora province.
