#1027 - Ditumabo Mother Falls Shots for Tuesday.

Greetings dearest Hiveans around the globe, this Tuesday let's take a moment to appreciate the vibrant community we have here. Our passion, creativity and unwavering support are the heartbeat of our journey. May this day bring you new opportunities, joy and the strength to pursue those dreams. Stay amazing and remember, we're all in this together. Cheers to our incredible Hive family!😉

For our daily shots here are some from Aurora. We arrived at the drop off area after a quick rain. As the sun revealed itself hot, casting a warm glow over the lush landscape, my wife and I went on our second journey after 19 years to the Ditumabo Mother Falls. The air has the lingering freshness of a recent rainfall.

Our son chose to stay behind because of his disability and instead guard our vehicle while we ventured out. It was his decision that allowed him a moment of being alone and just play games on his phone and also perhaps contemplate the beauty of nature.

We joined some groups of fellow explorers and we set off on a guided trek just like the other groups going to the forest. Our guide was an experienced lady that's local with a deep knowledge of the terrain, she led us along a winding path that seemed to dance with the land and the river coming from the falls. As we walked, there's sound of laughter and chatter from the diverse group of visitors filled the air.

The trek was a not a challenge at all with the beautiful landscape. After thirty minutes of traversing the path, we finally arrived at the famous Ditumabo Mother Falls. However, the scene before us was a bit different from what we had a decade ago. The falls had been altered by the forces of nature, with the fallen rocks reshaping the area and causing the water to get more shallow and rocky bed.

Despite the changes, the falls still held a decent beauty. The water now flowing over some rocky terrain. I was amazed by the resilience of nature, its way of adopting and transformation but still kept its beauty.

The other visitors in different ages and backgrounds were also captivated. Some chose to dip into the cold water while others simply sat or stand in contemplation by the falls and relax. The guide shared stories of the falls, how it ended like this with a lesser area to swim or dip on because of the heavy rains which caused the huge rocks to fall off the mountain.

As we stood there with the sound of the waterfalls, we felt a deep sense of gratitude for the opportunity to witness once again this such place after a trek. It was a moment of reflection and the reminder and importance of preserving such treasures for future generations to enjoy.
