#1022 - Beautiful Siargao Shots for Friday.
Happy sweet finish Friday, dearest Hiveans! We made it! Whether your week felt like a marathon or sprint or a slow jog, don't forget to pause and give credit to your wonderful efforts. Today isn’t just about racing to the finish line but also about exhaling and being thankful for another completed work week😉.
And now for our daily shots, allow me to bring us back to Siargao, it was already ages ago when we went there for a two night of a paradise vacation. It was during midday when we stopped by at the stunning Daku Island in Siargao, the sun was lit and warmed over the landscape. The bluecsky was dotted with cumulus clouds with their fluffy white forms. The white beach shore was filled with activity as anchored fleet of boats rests on the water after carrying us tourists to this paradise.
My lovely wife posed for a perfect shot against the backdrop of the ocean's friendly waves and the smooth fine sands. The salt water laps gently at the sand shore with relaxing rhythm while watching it. This scene was like a postcard perfect blend of nature and human presence.
Next one was after a 30-minute drive on an automatic motorcycle we rented from the transient house we were staying at, we arrived at achigh elevation area where the road is flanked by an endless stretch of coconut trees. The wide valley of greens stretches as far as the eye can see with the coconut trees standing tall.
Lastly At the iconic Cloud 9 surfing area in Siargao which is an area of vibrant blend of natural beauty. Our journey started at their boardwalk which is a wooden path that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area, where the ocean stretches out.
As we make our way to the surfing spot, the shoreline is rocky and rugged compared to the sandy beaches of Daku Island. The surfing spot is a full of activity where surfboards of various colors and sizes are arranged, ready for those eager to ride the waves.
There were some shacks here offering surfboard rentals and surfing lessons, most of the visitors we saw were foreigners. The shoreline is a mix of sharp rocks and shallow waters which requires those surfers to walk through at least 100 meters of rocky shallow terrain before reaching the waves, that walk definitely adds to the thrill and challenge to the experience.
