#1020 - More of Baler Aurora Shots for Monday.

Happy beautiful Monday lovely Hiveans! Today isn’t about jumping but it’s about simple steps from our restdays to working days of the week. Whether you’re sipping salabat tea or ginger tea, sorting thoughts or sending comments to posts here to a fellow newby Hivean… you’re building bridges with our community already, simple things matter.

Moving now to our daily shots about our tour in Baler Aurora. It was midday and warm when we arrived at the town of Baler in Aurora, the air thick coming from the sea but with the promise and scent of adventure. The town is a blend of history and charm. Our first stop was the iconic Baler lettered tourist slot. The letters were a perfect backdrop for our family photo, a snapshot that marked our visit with my wife and son.

From there, we also went to the Dona Aurora Hut which is a place that held the spirit of history and the legacy of a remarkable woman, the house is testament to the life of Dona Aurora, the wife of the former President Quezon.

Our exploration continued as we made our way to their local museum. The building built with traditional architecture is a sentinel of their culture and heritage.

Then we set off driving across a metal bridge that spanned a lush valley of coconut trees. The bridge was along the way to the mountain known as Ermita Hill.

Ermita Hill is a place to visit because of its natural beauty and tranquility. The hill with its lush vegetation was a haven for those seeking a moment of peace and connection with nature, there were other tourists that came here when we visited but it's too hot and humid. We explored the paths at the abundance of trees that provided a cool and cover. The air was filled with the scent of mahoganies and other sea side scents.

The place also has a viewing deck with the town proper unfolded in a breathtaking panorama. The entire shoreline of Sabang Beach stretched out below with its white sands and the blue sea. The view was a sight to behold. The three of us stood there with our minds at peace in the moment of relaxing, away from the toxic city 😂.

The hill with its gentle slopes and lush greenery, was a sanctuary and a place where the noise of the world can't be heard and the whispers of nature is felt. We wandered the area with the simple joy of being with the trees and the blue sky.
