And for our daily shots this time allow me to share more photos when we went for a weekend walk with some jog at UP Diliman oval. It was an early morning with fresh and cool air at the oval of the campus of the University of the Philippines in Diliman. The sun light over the landscape full of trees with the promise of a beautiful day ahead. My wife and I completed our three laps which is more than six kilometers and we ended up in front of the iconic Oblation area where the garden of sunflowers were.
The Oblation is the campus symbol of selfless service and sacrifice, the figure watches over the campus entrance. But it was the rows of sunflowers that captured our attention on this day because we have passed it several times already during our jog but we did not stopped yet. The flowers got those vibrant yellow petals and already in full bloom facing towards the rising sun as if it's in worship mode😂. The scene was a raw beauty of the sunflowers complemented the the Oblation, creating a sense of tranquility.
And we were not alone in our admiration of the flowers because the other early joggers like us also stopped by to capture the beauty of the moment. There's lots of phones with the soft click of shutters and the murmur of voices as people shared their time and appreciation for the sunflowers. My wife also turned her lens on me with the backdrop of the vibrant flowers.
But the true magic of the moment lay in the details, the small wonders that often go unnoticed as I zoomed closer on the sunflowers. The macro shots shows a world of different texture and color. The petals and then there were also the visiting bees, their tiny bodies a blur of motion as they collected pollen.
The industrious bees moved with ease from one flower to another and gather as much pollens as it could. The tiny critter move from petal to petal with their wings buzzing. The sunflowers with their bright faces already turned towards the direction of the sun, were a symbol of beauty and hope.
Our early morning walk was made of exercise and also flowers exploration and become a moment of discovery and reflection that early Sunday morning. The sunflowers, the bees had all come together to create a scene of beauty and connection.
