#1017 - More of Mount Kabunian Shots for Tuesday.

And now once again for more shots during our Mount Kabunian Shots. It was an early morning and the air was crisp, cold, fresh and invigorating as we started on our journey to Mount Kabunian in Bakun, Benguet. The sun casted already a warm glow over the mountainous landscape, painting the sky with light. As we stepped onto the trail, the world was still quiet and sleepy, the only were the crunches of our footwears on the ground.

The path was winding through the hills,m and mountains and it was a testament to the beauty of nature. Each step the beautiful landscape unfolded before us while revealing vistas of untouched mountains. The air with the scent of pine trees.

After a while we paused at a signpost that pointed the way to the summit of Kabunian while the other going to a waterfalls. It was a moment of reflection. We took a moment to catch our breath and took photos at the same time of the surrounding mountains.

The next two hours were a test of endurance. The trail requires of balance and lower body strength as each step is about conquest over the rugged terrain. The sun warmed our bodies against the cold air. We stopped frequently along the trails to appreciate and take photos of the breathtaking beauty that surrounded us. The mountains stood tall with their grandeur which were a humbling sight. The lush greenery stretched out along covering those mountains.

At each stop, we captured the beautiful moments of awe and wonder. The photos were more than just memories, these are testaments to the beauty of nature and the resilience of us climbing the trail. The beauty around us was a reminder of the simple joys that life offers. The summit though still hours away.

As we continued hiking the trail became steeper and more difficult to hike, very challenging indeed. Yet, with each step, we got rewarded with new beautiful vistas around us.

Our eyes were already full of the beauty surrounding us while halfway of the hike. The ongoing journey to the summit although long and tough was a journey of discovery and self-reflection, the wife kept chasing her breath because of the tough trails but we climbed not just to reach a destination, but to experience the tough challenging journey and to find ourselves in the heart of the mountains.

As we reached the final hour of stretch, the summit still looking far but the promise of a view that would forever be engraved in our memories. This journey to Mount Kabunian summit was an adventure of the soul forvthose who dare to explore.
