#1016 - Shots in San Felipe Beach during Typhoon Crising. A Stormy Weekend Vacation.
Happy Slow Bloom Sabbath Sunday dearest Hiveans! Whether you’re stretching into slow mornings, sharing stories with loved ones or tending to small projects at home, don't forget to let your spirits breathe. Feel the soft reset happening? That’s Sunday’s quiet power. Celebrate tiny joys, fresh air, a book chapter read or sunlight on the floor. You don’t need to do anything to deserve this kind peace, you simply belong in it.😉✌️
Now for our daily shots. Last weekend, we went aon an adventure to Liwliwa Beach in San Felipe, Zambales which is a destination known for its pristine shores as surfing spots, it was long scheduled but the weather was not on our side. Little did we know that our journey would be met with the raw power of nature as a tropical storm called Crising had cause heavy rains while we're on the way for four hours.
As we arrived, the sky was gray. The storm had brought with towering waves and a tide that seemed to reach the houses of the locals. The shore was a sight to behold, as the waves crashed against the sand and almost reaching the tiny huts on the shoreline. The locals were no found, retreated to the safety of their homes while leaving the beach to the storm and the few guests like us who dared to venture out for photos.
We found ourselves alone on the beach. The rain had temporarily stopped but the wind was strong. Yet, there was a beauty in the chaos, making us feel both small and significant in the face of the storm. The huge strong waves were a sight to behold, each a reminder of the ocean's true raw power. We stood there with our phone cameras capturing the moments.
Amidst the storm, there were a few carefree local dogs with their fur soaked in rain. Some ran and played while some just lay there on the sand as they wait the passing of time. Their presence added a layer of warmth to the scene as we also have brought a dog company with us.
As the rain calmed for a while we took this opportunity to explore more of the beach as our footsteps sinking into the wet sand. The shore was a sight of raw beauty just like a storm's handiwork.
Our weekend here at Liwliwa Beach was just a journey starting of discovery and adventure because we had scheduled a hike the next day which I had shared some of it already. The storm is indeed a force to be reckoned with and had turned our beach getaway into an experience.
