#1010 - Kabayan Benguet Shots for Tuesday.

Now for our daily shots this time in Kabayan Benguet. It was an early morning at Ballay village in Kabayan, Benguet, which is a world away from the busy pace of metropolitan life. As the sun begins its ascent with a lots of fog rolling over the landscape. The cold temperature chills at the nose and cheeks which is a big contrast to the warmer temperature in the lowlands.

Lake Tabeo found in the heart of the village as its surface a shimmering expanse of calmness. The lake is surrounded by greenery and the majestic Cordillera mountains shrouded in a misty fog. The life here is a slow, it's a rhythm set by the seasons and of nature. Farming is their way of life here. The fields stretch out as far as the eye can see in the mountains. The crops are not just their source of income but also a symbol of the community's resilience living in the highlands.

As we went out, the fog begins to dissipated from the meadows and mountains while also revealing the true majesty of the Cordillera mountains. The mountains slopes offer a glimpse into the rich tapestry of the region's life. The air was crisp and clean carries the scent of earth and pine trees.

The villagers who were up early and in those the farms already were wrapped in layers of clothing to ward off the cold. Children were nowhere to be seen yet this early. Some of the able elders tend to their gardens and livestock also.

The scene was a harmonious blend of nature and the men where the slow pace of life is found compared to the world around. The fog, the mountains, the farm fields and the people here all come together in a essence of life in Ballay village.
