#1000 - Patapat Viaduct Shots in Pagudpud for Tuesday.
Pleasant day to you all lovely Hiveans! Remember that every expert was once a beginner in their search for glory. So I say don't be afraid to start, to learn, read and to grow by any means. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step which is true. Embrace the process, celebrate those tiny or smallvprogress and never stop learning.😉
Now for our daily shots this Tuesday. The Patapat Viaduct located in Pagudpud of Ilocos Norte is an engineering marvel that stretches out like a concrete ribbon against the the vast blue sky and the mountains and hills of the countryside. The viaduct is a popular stop for travelers, its a place where the journey becomes as memorable as the destination. People drive all the way to the north for this site just like what we did on this day, that includes side trips of course.
My family and I, accompanied by a friend pull over to the side of the road while the engine still running from our workhorse, a 2017 Isuzu Crosswind XL manual. The sky above is a canvas of blue and white with the clouds like fluffy cotton that cast some shadows on the landscape.
The viaduct structure offers a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside with the green hills in the distance and the sea facing Taiwan was as blue as it gets. We pose for several photos while our laughter and serious poses not minding other passing tourists.
Other visitors also with their cameras join in the fun on the viaduct. Vehicles every now and then pass by with some slowing down to take in the sight while others like locals and buses simply continuing on their journey.
We make our way to the other end of the viaduct where the welcome sign for Ilocos Norte is located, it's also tattered with stickers from different bike group which came here before to witness the spectacle. The sign is indeed a popular photo op and we took full advantage to pose with it with high spirit of adventure and discovery.
Our stomachs rumble then too and fortunately there is a small store at the end of the viaduct selling the local delicacy: empanadas. We order a more than we can ate enough to make our mouths water. The empanadas of Ilocos are the real deal were golden and flaky bursting with flavor. We eat while having conversations.
The Patapat Viaduct is a place of beauty and wonder also flowing with tourists from different parts of the country. We left with our bellies full and our hearts content with the memory engraved in our minds too.

Nice road with beautiful view on the sea. I also like the dense white covering build of clouds in some of the pics!
Thanks thanks 😊.
