#996 - More Monochrome Street Scenes for Friday.
TGIF dearest Hiveans! On this Friday, remember that progress will always be ups and downs not a straight line to success. So go on and celebrate your small ups and learn from your downs. The journey to the goals is an ultra marathon and not a sprint. Stay persistent, stay positive and keep moving forward no matter how slow.😉
And now for our monochrome street scenery in the City of pines. At the Session Road in Baguio City in a typical day when college students flock the area. The inclined road is lined with a mix of shops, food stalls creating a lively atmosphere that we can see here with the crowd. Many young students walk down the slope with their chatter and laughter filling the air as they finished their school already probably from the University of Cordilleras. There were also some people that pause to window-shop on the stall along the road.
Then a scene at the bicycle area of Burnham Park where a little kid rides his tall mountain bike with confidence. His small hands grip the handlebars tightly as he pedals and as he pass a group of men who are also enjoying a leisurely ride on a bike with a sidecar attached. The men are clearly having a great time with carefree attitudes. The kid was probably curious and glance at the men in the sidecar. He probably thinking that even adults can find joy in something as simple as a bike ride.
I was on top of an overpass near the bustling market area of Baguio where there's also some flowering plants in bloom. From this vantage point, the view is panoramic and right below is the Magsaysay Avenue where a steady stream of people flow and also an access point going to the market which is on the left where commerce and community is.
Lastly a scene under the midday sun in Burnham Park where an elderly woman walks along the concrete pavement with her hands filled with ecobags, she's undeterred by the scorching heat from the sun. Following closely behind her is another woman holding an umbrella. Further away were two more women strolling the park with their umbrellas held high.
