#947 - Baguio Streets in Monochrome for Thursday.

Happy Thursday dearest Hiveans! As we are now near the end of the week let’s reflect on the strength we’ve shown. Every challenge faced and every step taken has brought us closer to our goals for a chill weekend. Stay focused, stay positive and remember that progress is a journey and not a race. Now moving on to our monochrome shots of the day. First we got here a scene at the entrance of the Jollibee store near Saint Louis University in Baguio City where a lively scene unfolds. Young students in school their casual uniforms and casual attire walk past with their laughter and chatter. Some pause to glance at the menu or join the line for a quick meal. This is my first walking this lane, we came here last last week looking for a famous local matcha cafe 😁. Matcha is life you know!

Next is a scene in the nearby market area where a man pulls an empty cart behind him with the wheels rattling against the uneven road. He pauses at the corner for a while waiting patiently for the traffic signal to turn in his favor so he could cross just like the motorcycle rider is doing adjacent to him.

In this soft bokeh shot was this woman stands with her back to the Panasonic camera with her long hair as she speaks on the phone. The blurred background glows with warm outof focus monochrome lights creating a dreamy atmosphere. Not far from her was a group sitting together. Among them was another woman also on her phone, seems adding to the scene’s sense of connection to people.

Then lastly we got here an old grandpa riding his motorcycle with total focus with his helmet securing his head. His face is serious while his eyes locked on the road ahead. Surrounding him were other vehicles move as he remains undeterred while riding with defensive driving and calmness.
