Have an amazing day and a wonderful weekend ahead! 😉

Moving now to our daily shots in monochrome, here's a crowd of women on a cold and rainy afternoon, some were standing still while others prepared to climb up the overpass. The rain poured down around them thanks to the cover of the waiting shed. Some have their umbrellas, while others wrapped their jackets and long sleeves. The sound of raindrops hitting the pavement and the murmur of conversations filled the air.

Here is four men stood together under the cover of an overpass outside the metal fences of Igorot park while seeking shelter from the heavy rain. Three of them appeared to be senior elderly with graying hair and weathered faces while the fourth on the right was noticeably younger. Together, they waited patiently for the rain to subside. They were all looking on the other side of the fence, their curious about something interesting out there.

Then here's a mother and son walked together sharing a single umbrella as they navigated through the rain-soaked street of lower Session road. The mother held the umbrella shielding them from the heavy rain while the son walked closely beside her. As they approached a pedestrian 🚸, a man walking in the opposite direction, he too held an umbrella.

Lastly, here's a young father carefully carried his little baby up the stairs to the building entrance. As they reached the steps, a grandfather and his little grandson emerged from the doorway, stepping out into the bright. The two families briefly crossed paths with a familiar bond as they passed each other on the stairs also creating a heartwarming moment of connection amidst their busy day.

The Philippines are close to me, but I have never made it there yet - someday I will correct this mistake! ))

Thanks, you'll definitely love the warmth and hospitality of our people here. Be prepared though, it's mostly warm/hot weathers here most of the year 😉.

I'm pretty sure it's the same. It's just that we have 7600+ islands that may have different weathers of rain or shine all the time😁.

What would you recommend to a person visiting the Philippines for the first time?

There's a lot. Siargao in the South if you like beach. Mount Pulag in the north if you're into mountains or look it up in TikTok for other areas here that would interest you.
