¡SALUDOS QUERIDOS AMIGOS!

Esta mañana fue especial, espléndida, a eso de la 6:30 de la mañana me asome por la ventana para ver cómo había amanecido el tiempo, y estaba casi totalmente tapado con neblina y ademas hacia bastante frío, por cierto, mi esposo y yo no estamos acostumbrados a un frío de de 15° o 10° pero ahora lo estamos experimentando. 🥶

Nos dicen que el frío en otoño normalmente no llega a tan bajas temperaturas, sin embargo, ya ha llegado hasta nueve grados por una ola de frío en esta parte del país. 🥶🌨️

Les cuento que no fue solo la neblina y el frio lo que llamo mi atención esta mañana, sino una plantación de piratas que está al frente de la casa donde vivo. Las flores estaban totalmente abiertas y es la primera vez que veo la flor de Pitaya, es un espectáculo. 😍🏵️

GREETINGS DEAR FRIENDS!

This morning was special, splendid, at about 6:30 in the morning I looked out the window to see how the weather had dawned, and it was almost totally covered with fog and it was also quite cold, by the way, my husband and I we are not used to a cold of 15° or 10° but now we are experiencing it.

They tell us that the cold in autumn does not normally reach such low temperatures, however, it has already reached nine degrees due to a cold wave in this part of the country. 🌨️

I tell you that it was not only the fog and the cold that caught my attention this morning, but a pirate plantation that is in front of the house where I live. The flowers were fully open and it is the first time I have seen the Pitaya flower, it is a spectacle. 😍🏵️

Mi esposo la noche anterior ayudo.ñ a hacer la polinización manual de estas flores para que posteriormente se puedan lar las frutas con mayor rapidez. Es un proceso muy sencillo que se hace con un pincel, se recoje el polen con este y se coloca en la estigma de la flor que está en el centro de la flores y sobresale de ella.

The night before, my husband helped to do the manual pollination of these flowers so that later the fruits can be harvested more quickly. It is a very simple process that is done with a brush, the pollen is collected with it and placed on the stigma of the flower that is in the center of the flowers and protrudes from it.

Hormigas

Tenemos un enemigo que está atacando la supervivencia de las flores y amenazando que podamos finalmente tener pitayas, ¡las hormigas! 🐜😵

Para esto realicé un repelente natural, cocinando ajo y cebolla en un litro de agua, luego agregué un litro más de agua y deje enfriar, posteriormente le eché a toda la planta con ayuda de un aspersor.

Ants

We have an enemy that is attacking the survival of flowers and threatening that we can finally have pitayas: ants! 🐜😵

For this I made a natural repellent, cooking garlic and onion in a liter of water, then I added another liter of water and let it cool, then I sprayed the entire plant with the help of a sprinkler.

También pueden observar algunos insectos, como abejas ayudando a la polinización 😄😄

Realmente me a encantado poder conocerlas de cerca está flor exótica ya quiero probar las pitayas y estoy segura que son igual de exóticas que su flor. 😍
