Aquí estoy nuevamente trayéndoles paisajes lindos de lugares que tengo la dicha de visitar... 😍
Esta vez se trata de Playa Guacuco, ubicada en el Municipio Arismendi de la Isla de Margarita, cerca de la Asunción y Porlamar.
Su nombre se debe a que en la orilla del mar, se encontraban muchos Guacucos, también llamados almejas. Las familias se acercaban para recolectarlos y asi preparar deliciosos platillos. Ahora, para poder atrapar unas cuantas almejas hay que ir muy tempranito, y tener mucha suerte de encontrarlas ya que estas son muy sensibles al ruido y al movimiento.

This time it is Playa Guacuco, located in the Arismendi Municipality of Margarita Island, near La Asuncion and Porlamar.
Its name is due to the fact that on the seashore, there were many Guacucos, also called clams. Families used to gather them to prepare delicious dishes. Now, to catch a few clams you have to go very early in the morning and be very lucky to find them because they are very sensitive to noise and movement.

Era tan temprano que tenia toda la playa solo para mi. Ya preparada para recibir a los visitantes que quisieran disfrutar de esta vista y este sol...de este paisaje casi poético.
It was so early that I had the whole beach all to myself. Already prepared to receive visitors who wanted to enjoy this view and this sun...this almost poetic landscape.
Inspiration flows when observing this immensity
To those who read me, I give you this poem that came from my experience on this beautiful beach. I am not a poet, but it is inevitable to be inspired by the sight of the sea:
Oh sea, majestic and eternal,
your immensity makes me feel small.
Thank you for this gift
that soothes my soul and gives me peace of mind.
The waves and the wind that caress my being,
the sand and palm trees that brighten my day,
make me feel serene and in harmony,
always longing for a new day.
